A former employee is being investigated by the Jamaica Constabulary Force for millions of dollars going missing from Sprint legend Usain Bolt’s investment account at a local company in Kingston.

On Thursday, the Jamaica Gleaner reported that the Sprinter’s stock and investments portfolio with a company named Stocks and Securities Limited had been tampered with, and the sprinter-turned-producer is now missing millions from his account.

Usain Bolt’s manager and best friend Nugent Walker told local media that the former athlete only found out about the missing money on Wednesday. He has not revealed how much money is missing, but the police have launched an investigation while one suspect, a former employee fired for fraud, has been implicated.

Reports on Thursday are that SSL called the police while the employee has reportedly retained the services of an attorney.

“All the relevant steps have been taken to come to the bottom of this,” Walker said as he pointed out that Financial Investigations Division (FID) and Financial Services Commission (FSC) has been made aware of the incident.

In the meantime, Walker said that Bolt has held an investment account with SSL for more than ten years, and the entire portfolio is being reviewed to see if there are more discrepancies.

In the meantime, the unidentified employee is said to be implicated in a massive fraud at the investment company that has a good reputation locally. That fraud also involves Bolt’s accounts. The employee is being represented by Attorney-at-law Tamika Harris, who told the Gleaner, “My client is in discussion with SSL and the lawyers representing SSL.”

The talks are said to be in their second week, the attorney said.

Usain Bolt is a four-time Olympic champion and has scored endorsement deals from the likes of Puma, Nike, and Gatorade. In 2013, he was named the seventh highest-paid athlete by endorsements. His current endorsements include Mumm, Hublot, and others.

Usain Bolt has not publicly addressed the development, but the artist’s fans speculated that many of his endorsement deals and his earnings as an Olympic athlete may well be part of that investment portfolio.

Shenseea and Burna Boy are among the many artists set to make their Coachella debut this year.

Shenseea has been named as one of the performers for Coachella 2023. The event organizers revealed the official poster on Tuesday featuring more than 50 artists that will grace the stage over three weekends in April. The Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival is a annual music festival held in April, and this would be the second staging of the event since the pandemic started in 2020.

Shenseea shared the official poster from Coachella confirming her attendance at the festival, which would be her debut. “@coachella 15 & 22,” she wrote on Instagram.

Along with Shenseea, there are two other reggae acts, American bands Stick Figure and Rebelution. For 2023, the festival will be headlined by superstar Bad Bunny, R&B sensation Frank Ocean, and K-pop girl group sensation BLACKPINK.

The event this year will be held at Emporio Polo Club in Indio, California, and will run off on the weekends of April 14-16 and April 21-23. Overall, the event also sees Burna Boy, K-pop star Jackson Wang and Idris Elba and Metro Boomin, Doechi, GloRilla, Klai Uchis, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Blaze, Willow, Rae Sremmurd, Pusha T, Suicideboys and others. Coachella usually adds more artists to the rundown as the time winds down.

Ja Rule Trolled By 50 Cent After Yelling To Stop Playing ‘In Da Club’ At Concert

Ja Rule’s team was not pleased after fans attempted to troll him with 50 Cent’s music playing at one of his events.

Over the weekend, a video surfaced showing Ja’s team scrambling to get 50 Cent’s classic “In Da Club” cut while the artist made his way to the stage. 50 Cent, who got a hold of the video, also trolled Ja Rule, letting him know that 2023 might be a new year, but the old beef still stands.

According to reports online, Ja Rule was preparing to perform at the Power 106.9 Jingle Jam concert in Omaha, Nebraska, last month (December 10). The event held at Baxter Arena was widely attended, and while the New York rapper’s team tried to get things under control, Ja Rule was a good sport about it.

“Only in Omaha they gon’ play 50 at Ja Rule sh*t,” a voice in the video said. “They trying to get it cut off right now… That ni**a 50’s still winning,” another said.

50 Cent also seemed amused by the video. “LOL Now this is some funny shit! I wish i had something to do with it,” he wrote, along with the laughing and applause emoji.

Ja Rule and 50 Cent’s beef go way back over two decades. It doesn’t seem that 50 Cent has let go of the grudge despite Ja Rule not acknowledging his antics. Back in 2018, there was a report that 50 Cent bought out 200 front-row tickets at Ja Rule’s show to make him look silly.

“Even the thought of it is still stupid, because n***a, all you did if you did that, was put money in my pocket.,” the “Happy” rapper said. “And what you think the promoter is going to do? Have an empty venue? You let n***as in free or charge them again! It’s the dumbest sh*t ever, yo. But yeah, it’s cap. Never happened.”

Ja Rule hasn’t responded to 50 Cent’s latest trolling.
