Twenty-year-old Jamar Mason, a customer service representative of Lookout district in Hopewell, Hanover has been missing since Wednesday, September 7.
He is of dark complexion, medium build and is about 182 centimetres (6 feet) tall.
Reports from the Sandy Bay police are that about 5pm, Mason was last seen at work in Freeport, Montego Bay, St James.
His mode of dress when last seen is unknown. All attempts to contact him have failed, the police said.
Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Jamar Mason is being asked to contact the Sandy Bay police at 876-953-5312, the police 119 emergency numbers or the nearest police station.

Burna Boy
Grammy-winning Nigerian star Burna Boy will be coming to Tobago to perform at the Tobago Music, Arts and Culture Festival (TOMAC) on October 27 in Plymouth.
Known for mega hits such as Last Last, Ye and Kilometre, Burna Boy is arguably the top entertainer when it comes to Afrobeats. His performance will be smack in the middle of Tobago carnival, which officially will be held from October 28-30, but parties have been scheduled for the entire month of October.
At the festival’s media launch at the Plymouth Recreational Grounds on Thursday evening, co-organiser Arlene Lyons, who lives in the US but is originally from Tobago, said during the covid19 pandemic, she and her sister Corelli gave created two companies – Catch the Wave Solutions Inc and the Pride of Tobago Foundation.
She said Catch the Wave Solutions Inc is aimed at helping Tobago’s entrepreneurs who were struggling during the pandemic, while the Pride of Tobago Foundation will unearth and promote the island’s creatives.
Nylon Pool Productions, Island Breeze Entertainment Group and Catch the Wave Solutions Inc are the organisers of the event.
“TOMAC is not just an event. TOMAC is the natural outgrowth of this Lyons’ legacy and more specifically it is the manifestation of a movement started by this two-woman powerhouse, with the purpose of sparking what we call a cultural revival and an economic reawakening that draws on Tobago’s abundant talent to create hope, opportunity and prosperity for the people of Tobago for generations to come.”
The festival earmarked for October 24 to 28 at the Plymouth Recreational Grounds, she said will focus heavily on the African roots of the island and will offer youth empowerment, as well as historical information and artefacts.
Other artistes expected to perform at the event includes Kes the Band, Lyrikal, and Nailah Blackman. Veteran calypsonian Lord Nelson will also be honoured.

Progressive Democratic Patriots (PDP) political leader Watson Duke on Thursday invoked the PDP constitution to fire the party’s three deputy leaders – THA Chief Secretary Farley Augustine, Secretary of Health Dr Faith BYisrael and Alicia Roberts-Patterson.
The decision came on the day Augustine expressed disappointment at Duke’s handling of his portfolio as Deputy Chief Secretary and vowed to review Duke’s responsibilities.
Duke had publicly chastised the Tobago House of Assembly, in which his party holds a 14-1 majority, for its treatment of 27 members of the Roxborough Folk Performers in New York. Duke claimed the THA did not provide them with funding, and the performers were left to sleep on the streets hungry, and even in a basement with dead rats.
Augustine’s comments were not well received by Duke, who told Augustine on Thursday that he would not let a “political virgin” threaten him.
Less than 24 hours later, Duke invoked part 27.14 of the PDP constitution, which says: “The political leader may from time to time appoint up to three members of the party ‘in good standing’ to be deputy leader.”
It appears that Augustine, BYisrael and Roberts-Patterson are no longer in “good standing” with Duke.
The constitution further says a deputy leader “shall carry out such duties as the political leader shall assign to him.”
In a show of support at Augustine’s press conference at Shaw Park on Thursday, all the PDP THA secretaries apart from Duke were present.
Duke’s rift with Augustine might have had serious implications for his position within his own party had he not acted expeditiously.
Part 32.17-32.18 of the PDP constitution says: “A motion of no confidence in the political leader may be proposed before the National Executive Council. In order for it to pass, no less than two-thirds members of the National Executive Council shall vote in favour of the motion.”
The National Executive Council comprises the political leader, the three deputies, the party chair, the general secretary, treasurer, finance officer, members and mobilisation officer, the elections officer and PRO.
If Duke felt threatened by Augustine’s influence within the THA, the latter’s removal as deputy may have reaffirmed Duke’s control of the PDP, as the removed deputies are now ordinary party members.
A recourse available to the trio may lie in Part 37 of the constitution, which deals with dispute resolution and allows members to challenge the interpretation of any article of the constitution.

The United Nations has pledged its commitment to continue working in partnership with the Government and people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines towards sustainable development.
This from the United Nations Resident Co-ordinator for the Eastern Caribbean, Didier Trebucq during the ceremony to mark the opening of the United Nations Common Premises in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
He said SVG is the second country in the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States to establish a United Nations Common Premises and this comes as part of the country’s new five-year cooperation program with the U.N.

Minister of Tourism and Sustainable Development, Carlos James said St. Vincent and the Grenadines continues the process of recovery following the many challenges faced over the past years.
He made this statement during yesterday’s official launch of the “Resilient livelihoods and food security through data, digitalization and sectoral linkages Project.
Minister James said the project will assist with major development in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

The World Pediatric Project (WPP) is preparing to embark on a hectic program of medical missions to St. Vincent and the Grenadines for the remainder of this year, following a break for the summer period.
