Mother, daughter make ?8k a month on OnlyFans Loop Jamaica

Black Immigrant Daily News

The content originally appeared on: Jamaica News Loop News

Meet the mom and daughter duo who pose together and make ?8k a month, filming their food fights in the nude.

Jessie Jo, 55, suggested to her daughter, Phoenix Rae Blue, 24, that they create a joint OnlyFans account after she was struggling for work in May 2020.

The pair filmed themselves, both dressed as dominatrixes– wearing PVC leather and wielding whips — and were shocked when the video took off.

The mother and daughter continued to film content and now bring in up to ?8,000 a month between them.

They aren’t afraid to pose nude together or in lingerie and share racy snaps and raunchy videos where they have food fights or wrestle in a bubble bath.

Their fans will even pay ?50 just for a five-minute chat with them both.

Jessie, a glamour model from Nuneaton, Warwickshire, England, said: “My glamour shoots got cancelled because of the pandemic, so I decided we needed to do something different.

“We weren’t expecting it to go so crazy,” she said. “It just blew up, and now it’s what pays our bills.

“We don’t touch each other but are happy to pose naked or in lingerie,” the mothher added. “We just have fun.

“I used to walk around the house naked all the time anyway, so we’re used to it.

“People have called us incestuous before, but they don’t really understand what we do and, over time, the negative comments have become less,” Jessie said.

Phoenix said: “I thought it was a great idea when my mom suggested a joint OnlyFans.

“I saw that no one else was doing it.

“A lot of my friends are envious of the bond I have with my mom,” she added. “We’re very comfortable around each other, and it’s so fun doing what we do.”

Jessie was a struggling single mom working two jobs running a beauty shop and as a bartender 14 hours a day before she was approached by Babestation and launched her glamour model career.

The mom of two set up an OnlyFans in 2017 and encouraged daughter Phoenix to set one up when she struggled to get a job after finishing college where she studied graphic design to become a computer-aided design engineer.

“I told her she didn’t have to get anything out, she could just take selfies,” Jessie said.

“I felt really confident doing OnlyFans,” Phoenix added.

“I wasn’t getting anywhere with job applications and interviews, so I didn’t want to sit around doing nothing when I could make money,” she added.

When lockdown hit in March 2020, Jessie’s glamour work dried up as she couldn’t get to shoots.

She suggested the idea of a joint OnlyFans to Phoenix in the hope of bringing in some extra income.

“I thought if we did something different it might boost our OnlyFans a bit,” Jessie said.

“But it blew up overnight.”

Now the pair create regular content for their followers and are not afraid to get their kit off in front of each other.

The pair’s success has meant they have the time and money to invest in new projects.

Jessie also works as a medium, and Phoenix has set up a clothing brand.

“I can grow old relaxed,” Jessie said.

“It’s all meant I’ve had the money to treat myself to an ?8,000 tummy tuck.

“But I’ve always embraced my curved, and women have told me seeing me makes them feel sexy again,” the mother said.

NEWYou can now listen to Loop News articles!

Two policemen, who placed themselves in the line of fire to save lives, received the Medal of Honour for Gallantry at the Ceremony of Investiture and Presentation of National Honours and Awards at Kings House on Monday.

The policemen, identified as Sergeant Leon Fisher and Constable Kevin Lewars, were on operation in St James in 2018 when they were involved in a confrontation with one of the parish’s most wanted men.

Reports from the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) are that Sergeant Fisher, though injured, used his body as a human shield to remove persons from the vicinity, including an 18-month-old baby, while Constable Lewars also used his body as a human shield to escort team members and other individuals from the scene of the incident, during which his helmet and vest were damaged by bullets.

The wanted man was fatally shot during the incident.

The JCF has since congratulated both officers.

The officers were among 221 outstanding Jamaicans recognised at the National Honours and Awards Ceremony on National Heroes Day, October 17.

King’s Counsel cancer free: Nelson’s money woes

Black Immigrant Daily News

The content originally appeared on: Trinidad and Tobago Newsday

News

Vincent Nelson, KC –

As of December 2021, convicted King’s Counsel Vincent Nelson was cancer free.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans done in December 2019, 2020 and 2021 showed no signs of cancer.

Nelson, 64, was diagnosed with cancer in March 2016. Sometime in October 2017, his then-attorney, Roger Kawalsingh, met with former attorney general Faris Al-Rawi with information that Nelson was “gravely ill and wanted to purge his conscience” of alleged corrupt practices involving former AG Anand Ramlogan, ex-UNC senator Gerald Ramdeen and three other attorneys before he died.

This led to Nelson signing a purported indemnity agreement – which he now says was breached by Al-Rawi and the Government – and giving a statement stating the alleged evidence of wrongdoing.

Nelson took a sabbatical from practice and was treated in New York. In 2017, cancer returned and he again had surgery in March 2018 in London.

MRIs showed he was cancer free and he said he planned to return to work but was advised to hold off until January 2019.

On June 6, 2019, Nelson pleaded guilty to conspiring to commit money laundering and conspiracy to commit an act of corruption arising out of the alleged legal fees kickback scheme. He was charged a month earlier.

In May 2019, he was permanently excluded from membership at the 39 Essex Street Chambers in London because of his conviction.

After his conviction, he tried to get work at commercial law chambers and even a utility company he previously represented but was unsuccessful in getting work.

Nelson said if not for his conviction – which he also claims was not part of his agreement with the Government – he would have returned to practice law for 10 years until his retirement in 2028 when he turned 71.

He is claiming $96 million for these “lost years” of work. Nelson said he had no funds saved for a pension and it was always his intention to return to work as soon as he was cured of cancer.

His bank account was overdrawn in June 2018 and closed in March 2020 when UK investigative authorities began a probe based on the statement he gave about the alleged corruption scheme. Nelson was not criminally prosecuted in the UK because of Al-Rawi’s intervention, but he is still being investigated for underpayment of taxes. He also wants TT to pay any demand for unpaid taxes that the National Crime Agency or His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs service may make against him because of his statement as he is entitled to be indemnified for it because of the alleged breach of his agreement with the Government.

Nelson said in August 2020 when his father died in Jamaica, he could not attend because he had no money for airfare or hotel bills so it was imperative that he return to work.

In March 2020, he was fined $2.5 million – which he also wants the State to pay – and at his sentencing hearing, his British attorney at the time, Tom Allen,KC, said Nelson’s main asset was a property in the United Kingdom which he would have had to sell to pay the fines. Allen said his client could no longer practice since agreeing to cooperate in the case and that most of his liquid assets were depleted in treating his cancer.

Nelson says before his conviction he earned an average annual salary of £1.4 million.

He said his expulsion from Chambers also led to him sling his medical insurance and he wants the State to pay for this and any costs or expenses he incurs from disciplinary proceedings by the British Bar Standards Board which were started in July 2019, because of his conviction.

Sinkholes in Beetham again

Black Immigrant Daily News

ONLY a few months after WASA finally repaired a giant sinkhole in the area, Beetham Gardens residents are having to steer clear of three more.

In a Monday morning media release, the Water and Sewerage Authority said it “is aware of what is suspected to be a partial collapse of its sewer main,” which it believes caused the three sinkholes. This was confirmed in a media release on Monday afternoon.

The first sinkhole is near 15th and 16th Streets, on the eastbound lane of Main Street, Beetham Gardens. It is cordoned off by caution tape and warning signs.

The hole measures approximately 14 square feet at road level, is three feet deep and is almost one and a half times wider below the surface. There is a barrel of trash in it.

One resident said the hole has been there for between one and two months, but it is not nearly as problematic as the sinkhole residents had to contend with last year.

Last August, a sinkhole opened on Main Street. Residents estimated that hole was 15 feet wide and 25 feet deep. It made the road impassable and sewage spilt into homes and onto the streets. Traffic had to be diverted to the Priority Bus Route. By January, Newsday reported repairs were nearly complete, but not before a 22-year-old woman fell in and had to be hospitalised.

The second new sinkhole residents identified is close to the one that was repaired. This sinkhole is beneath the bridge where three dried caiman skins hang, within sight of the PBR.

Beetham resident Keith Superville said the sinkhole has been there for between two and three months.

Superville said, “I say Beetham might sink, oui.

“You can’t see the hole, because is high tide, but on low tide you could see it clear. Water from the mang does rush in and cover it. You could see the run-off from the houses in the drain, but what in the river comes from the mangrove.

“Instead of water running back in the mang, we feel it might be running in the sewer line.

“I think they might have to move that whole bridge if they was to deal with it, because of that sinkhole in the middle.”

Higher up Main Street is the third sinkhole, the largest, which obstructs the entire road between the Civilian Conservation Corps and Pension Quarters.

The hole, at the end of CCC Boulevard, behind the Excel Beetham Government Primary School, is approximately 20 feet wide and 15 feet deep. It too was blocked off by caution tape and workers from the T&T Electricity Commission were on site to investigate. They did not yet know the cause or a timeline to repair the hole.

Residents saw engineers from WASA at this spot on Monday morning.

WASA’s morning release said it “is engaging the required contractor and mobilising all other resources to commence restorative work within 24 hours and minimise the inconvenience and discomfort to the people of Beetham Gardens.”

The afternoon release said team members of the Operations Division visited the site to determine the scope of work and to

strategise a way forward, while minimising community disruption.

“Logistics are being finalised inclusive of the de-energizing of a T&TEC power line and transporting materials and requisite equipment.”

WASA warned the public to “proceed with extreme caution around the work site” and said it would inform them if revised traffic arrangements become necessary.

Station Sergeant urges Barbadians to practice fire safety Loop Barbados

Black Immigrant Daily News

With the recent increase in house fires across the island, one station sergeant is encouraging Barbadians to practice fire safety in order to protect themselves and the persons around them.

I want to encourage persons throughout Barbados to ensure that they look after their safety

Speaking to Loop News on Monday, at the scene of a house fire in Harts Gap, Christ Church, Acting Station Sergeant in charge of the Worthing Fire Station Tony Scantlebury urged Barbadians to look after their safety and the safety of others by practicing fire safety.

Recognising that just last week was Fire Prevention Week, he said:

“I want to encourage persons throughout Barbados to ensure that they look after their safety and also the safety of others around them, to practice fire safety. Whether it is having an escape plan for you and your family or it is not allowing children to handle fire without proper supervision.”

As it pertained to the derelict house fire, he said this fire was extinguished and would not be any further threat to others.

“We would have received a call to a house fire at 8th Avenue Harts Gap in Christ Church. When fire officers arrived on the scene they observed that it was an abandoned house which would be in derelict and they proceeded to conduct fire suppression operations bringing the situation under control. At this time we are cooling down the area so that it would not be any further threat to others nearby and we would be carrying out investigations into what could have caused the fire.”
