Macka Diamond Doubles Down On Lucrative OnlyFans Despite Leak

Age or people’s opinions matter little to dancehall star Macka Diamond, who has once again let her critics know that she has no intention of stopping her Only Fans account. The site is known for its explicit adult content, and even though some content leaked from hers, she has stated that she still does not intend to stop posting sexually aggressive content.

She made the declaration while speaking with Jamaica Observer’s Splash yesterday, September 29, where she added that she intends to keep posting even more videos. She also used the opportunity to clear the air and let fans know that she had nothing to do with the leaked content that made it into the public domain.

In the leak, which happened recently and is making the rounds on social media, the “Bun Him” singer can be seen partially exposed and giving her breasts some special attention. This is not the first leak either, as back in June, a video of similar nature also made it into the public sphere.

She firmly believes that the leaks are her haters’ attempts at trying to derail her career as she also questioned what anyone had to gain from circulating the explicit content.

The “Dye Dye” deejay added that If the reason for the leaks is to embarrass her, they definitely won’t win that battle. In fact, she said it would only serve to help boost her subscription on the site. That would mean that she ends up making even more money. In light of the recent events, she also revealed that she intends to raise her subscription from US$10 to US$50.

As with so many leaks nowadays, the veteran believes it happened when she took her phone to have the videos transferred to another device.

“What I am thinking is that when I recently changed my old phone that had the video in question, someone at the phone store downloaded all my old stuff to the new phone, saw the video and decided to circulate it on social media,” she continued.

Macka Diamond

She is one of the female deejays from Jamaica who have joined the site, which was launched in 2016. Two other popular female deejays who are proud of using the site as a side business are D’Angel and Ishawna.

Macka revealed that she joined the platform in 2020 during the height of the pandemic as he was looking for an extra source of income. She explained that for two years, when there were no shows for her and her colleagues to earn a living, they decided to turn to the site.

The “Done Already” artist also shared that since she and some of her other female artists had time on their hands, they chose to keep their fans entertained.

“I have to keep up with my postings and if I don’t, the site will send a message to tell you how long since I posted. But, I don’t have a specific time to post. I may choose to post twice for a week and then only once the other week; it depends on the amount of material I have,” she revealed.

Macka is also confident that her 22-year-old son would not be embarrassed if he came across the video. She added her only son had already seen what was on the video numerous times, so she doubted that he would have any major problem with it.

But, speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of the game, the City boss said the stature of the occasion itself would provide more than enough emotional inspiration for his players.

Health Ministry launches HEARTS Technical Packages at Lethem Hospital

Black Immigrant Daily News

The content originally appeared on: INews Guyana

In observance of World Heart Day 2022 under the theme “Use Heart for every Heart”, the Ministry of Health’s (MOH) Chronic Diseases Unit launched the HEARTS Technical Packages on Thursday, September 29, at the Lethem Regional Hospital, Upper Takutu-Upper Essequibo (Region 9).

The initiative of this package aims to better assist health care professionals in the prevention and early detection of cardiovascular diseases and hypertension within primary health care.

According to the World Health Organisation/ Pan American Health Organisation (WHO / PAHO), the HEARTS Technical Package comprises six modules and an implementation guide that is of great support to health care providers. It will also be effective in strengthening the management of risk factors for cardiovascular diseases and ensuring that there is reasonable access to continuous, standardized, and high-quality care for people who are at high risk.

Additionally, the package is aligned with and builds on the WHO’s package of Essential Non-Communicable Disease Interventions. It also responds to the agreement that sustains effective actions that urgently require the prevention of cardiovascular diseases.

With cardiovascular disease being the leading cause of death in Guyana, before the COVID–19 pandemic, the Chronic Diseases Unit welcomed the initiative from PAHO/WHO to have primary health care be properly equipped to detect cardiovascular diseases in the early stages as such eight pilot sites were selected to benefit from the implementation the packages.

Focal Point of High Blood Pressure and the HEARTS Technical Package initiative, Dr Micheal Pereira emphasised the urgency of having these technical packages be implemented since it will see a reduction in the rate of cardiovascular diseases and Pre-mature deaths.

“If we improve the ways we treat, monitor, and look into risk factors associated with cardiovascular diseases, we can better prolong our patients’ life.” – Dr Pereira said during his interactions with health care workers in Lethem.

Dr Pereira also noted that the ‘S’ from HEARTS will soon be changed to ‘D’ to have a component for Diabetes added.

He further explained that the implementation of the HEARTS package at the Primary Health Care facilities, not only will it help to reduce the number of patients visiting the Lethem Regional Hospital, but it will also help to see which patient is at risk in the primary levels and to have those patients be properly treated.

“Primary health care centres play a major role because that’s where we need to control patients, see who is at risk, treat them properly, and avoid them from coming here at Lethem Regional Hospital” – he started.

Lethem Regional Hospital was the last of eight Pilot sites for the official launch of the HEARTS Technical Package. However, since April, the Chronic Diseases Unit has been developing the initiative of the package within various health centres around Guyana. To date, approximately thirty (30) health facilities have since benefited from this initiative, and the Ministry is hoping to have all health facilities benefit.

Medical Superintendent at Lethem Regional Hospital, Dr Delleana Anderson; Dr Dianelle Drepaul, Coordinator of Chronic Diseases Unit; Cecil Abrams, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer; Technical Officer for Tobacco and Alcohol Control, Dr Shelieza Gopie and were also present and participated in the launch of the HEARTs initiative. AG instructs Transport Authority to tighten reins on PSVs Loop Barbados

Black Immigrant Daily News

The content originally appeared on: Barbados News

The Transport Authority has been instructed to do its job and be “more authoritative” as it relates to traffic violations by public service vehicles (PSVs).

This comes from Attorney General Dale Marshall who stated that the Barbados Police Service does not have enough officers to deal with the lawlessness on the nation’s roads.

A lot of these things are not necessarily police issues…

“The Transport Authority is the regulatory agency, so when we have PSV drivers who are constantly breaking the rules and regulations, the court system is not the place for them. What is required is that the Authority be authoritative and revoke the permit and things of that sort to bring discipline,” said the Attorney General during St James Speaks town hall meeting on Wednesday, September 28 at the Frederick Smith Primary School.

“Unfortunately, everybody looks to the police when there is a deviation from the norm….In this instance, with those kinds of minor traffic issues, the Transport Authority is the one we have to look to bring those individuals to heel,” he continued.

While acknowledging that the cameras mounted along the highway stretch can assist with catching traffic offenders, the Attorney General asserted that this crime prevention strategy by the Service was “not necessarily” for these minor issues.

Marshall explained that several measures were in the works to tackle the PSVs on the roads, this includes GPS monitoring and a “new transport arrangement” as it relates to the supervision by the Transport Authority. However, he stressed that an iron fist was needed to correct bad behaviour by PSV operators.

“What we really need is a firmer hand on the PSV drivers but while the police can be involved in that, given our resource challenges, we simply cannot deploy enough police officers for that purpose,” Marshall said adding that it would be a collaborative effort with the Ministry of Public Works.

“A lot of these things are not necessarily police issues. We would tie up a lot of police time stopping a PSV driver and charging him and going through the court process -that is not necessarily desirable.”

The Attorney General went on to urge the travelling public to report traffic law offenders to the Transport Authority.
