Kodak Black and 21 Savage are at it after the Florida rapper claimed that the Her Loss rapper had shamed him about his album sales.
On Instagram on Sunday, Kodak Black responded after 21 Savage posted a shady tweet asking where the fans are when unnamed rappers drop albums. 21 Savage’s tweet came following Kodak’s response to him claiming that Nas was not relevant in today’s music scene.
On Sunday, Kodak released a long message targeting 21 and his tweet shading his album sales.
“21 do his thing I give him credit where its due, but don’t come for me [talking] ’bout my album sales homie that ain’t gangsta!” he wrote. “You n***as know what I been thru in this shit. And you n***as had a whole consistent run with no hiccups [for real] and y’all 30 years old plus! I’m a yung n***a doin this sh– since I came in the game.”
Kodak Black, who saw commercial success with his album Back for Everything, which featured the platinum-selling song “Super Gremlin,” also promised competition to his fellow rappers.
“But let’s see how this shit go now that I been home and I’m consistent with this shit,” he ended.
Kodak’s direct response to 21 Savage comes following his response to the Atlanta rapper claiming that Nas “isn’t relevant he has a strong core fan base.” Kodak did not hold back as he called out 21 Savage and even hinted that the current numbers he was seeing were because of Drake being the heavyweight on the project.
“This m****af**ka talking about Nas irrelevant,” Kodak on Instagram Live. “How the f**k Nas ain’t relevant, homie? N***a smoking d**k because of Drake. We from the projects. We from the trenches. We don’t give a f**k about no…you did a Drake. We salute Drake. We love Drake. OK, whatever. Fam, folks smoking d**k. Nas that n***a.”
Kodak Black and 21 Savage’s exchange appears to stem from 21’s comment that no one from his 2016 XXL Freshman year can compete with him in a Verzuz battle. Kodak, who was a part of the same group, appeared to take exception to the comment.
As for 21 Savage, he’s flying high after his joint Drake album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 charts this week. The album is already certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) over the weekend, having sold over 500,000 units.
21 Savage tweeted yesterday that he would never disrespect Nas and calls the New York rapper a legend who paved the way for artists like himself.

Yung Bleu is responding to backlash from DMX fans after covering the late rapper’s hit song, “How’s It Goin’ Down,” off of his 1998 debut album.
On Monday, Yung Bleu released the music video for the track “What Type of Games” produced by Murda Beatz.
Bleu’s track incorporated DMX’s chorus, which led to fans calling him out for the sample. Many fans felt that the song was a legendary track, and even though Bleu was a good artist, they did not want the track to be touched.
Yung Bleu, however, defended the track and said that he was not destroying a classic, but rather he had received the artist’s blessings before and that the song is also bringing proceeds to the artist’s estate and his children.
“I understand that’s such a great song and it will never be duplicated no. Matter what by any artist ! Classic ! I’m paying homage! and mainly bringing more income to his estate at that! that’s what matter to me,” he said in a since deleted Tweet.
Bleu added that he and DMX spoke on the phone two weeks before his death.
The artist added that he and DMX had even discussed him making music together. Their plans, however, fell through after the artist passed away on April 9, 2021, after suffering a heart attack.
“He was gonna be on my song Ghetto. Love Birds so this was my dedication after that! Anyways! fly high og! I hope it get a billion streams,” Bleu said in another tweet.
In the meantime, the track “What Type Of Games” is off of the album ‘Tantra’ released by Bleu on November 11.
The featured artists include Nicki Minaj, Fivio Foreign, Zayn, Lucky Daye, Kelly Rowland, and French Montana.
In the meantime, some fans also shared support for Blue. One fan wrote on Instagram, “MX did show his support for Bleu prior to passing, so at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter if we like his art or not, it’s his music and his song, so let him rock out with his homage. He never compared himself to DMX as so many newer artist try and do with Legends. At least he’s respectful.”
“Adding income to his estate should shut y’all up,” another said. “He doesn’t have to explain himself people are easily bothered. I love his creativity,” another said.

Bob Marley’s music remains timeless.
One of the albums from Bob Marley and the Wailers, which produced many timeless hits, has been given a new life. Tuff Gong International has partnered with Acoustic Sounds/Analogue to release a limited edition, deluxe box set of the much beloved 1976 album Rastaman Vibration. It is set to be released on November 18 and is expected to feature a newly remastered version of the landmark album in Ultra High-Quality Record (UHQR) format on Clarity Vinyl.
At the time of its release, it was widely praised by renowned publications, including Rolling Stone, in 1976. The reviewer, Robert Palmer, described the album as Marley cementing his role as a spokesman for the Third World’s disadvantaged and an avatar of a highly commercial brand of popular music.
He also described the work as one that embodied the pain, rage, and determination of Shantytown, Jamaica, as well as the community’s political and cultural fragmentation as well.
Rastaman Vibration also did well on the US charts and became the iconic reggae singer’s first release to reach the top 10 on the Billboard 200 chart. It peaked at No. 8, with the most popular US single being “Roots, Rock, Reggae.” The track was actually the only Marley single to reach the Billboard Hot 100 chart, peaking at number 51.
The album is one of the three Wailers solo albums released in 1976, along with Blackheart Man by Bunny Wailer Legalize It by Peter Tosh.

It was also the album that spawned some of Marley’s most popular tracks, including “War,” “Who The Cap Fit,” and “Crazy Baldhead.” Rastaman Vibration will also be the first in the Marley catalog to be released in UHQR format.
A statement from Tuff Gong International also noted that the UHQR is remastered by Sterling Sound’s Ryan K Smith from the original analog master tapes and that each UHQR is pressed at Acoustic Sounds’ industry-leading pressing plant Quality Record Pressings (QRP) using hand-selected Clarity Vinyl® with attention paid to every single detail.
The statement further acknowledged that the records feature the same flat profile that helped to make the original UHQR so desirable.
“From the lead-in groove to the run-out groove, there is no pitch to the profile, allowing the customer’s stylus to play truly perpendicular to the grooves from edge to centre. Each UHQR is packaged in a deluxe box and includes a booklet detailing the entire process of making a UHQR along with a hand-signed certificate of inspection.”
Besides the high-quality music, fans will also get a UHQR booklet which includes an eight-page 12″ x 12″ booklet containing new liner notes by musician and Marley’s biographer Leroy Jodie Pierson. Fans will also get exclusive photos by Kim Gottlieb-Walker.
Bob Marley died in May, 1981 after battling cancer. Four decades later he remains the highest selling reggae artist in the world.

Drake is getting roasted after sharing a snippet of his night routine, which involves sleeping with a satin bonnet to protect his braids.
Drake is once again a social media menace with another selfie that has him becoming a meme in 2022. The rapper traded in his duck mouth mirror selfie for one of him enjoying the soft life in his blue bonnet and white cotton sheets.
The photo was shared as part of a carousel on Instagram with the caption, “I was up plotting on the next one the night the last one dropped. you cant f*kn make this shit up.” Of course, it had to be the bonnet pic that goes viral despite the other photos, such as the rapper decked out in all leather or one where he is seen pointing a fake gun at the camera.
The photos appear to be promoting his latest album, Her Loss, featuring 21 Savage, with one showing him sipping a drink, a photo of a mixed drink, and another showing two women on their knees and hands while wearing carved pumpkins on their heads.
Shortly after posting the photos, fans didn’t waste time roasting the rapper, particularly the photo of him with the satin bonnet, as some also pointed out that his eyebrows appeared to be freshly done.
“Drake wearing a bonnet is further proof that he’s in his baddie era and it needs to stop,” one person said.
“Open your eyes everyone. Drake be doing things you don’t see on the surface. I’m positive he’s not trolling the internet. Some man out there knows his girl got that bonnet. drake just finished up with somebody’s girl. Y’all better check up on your lady instead of clowning drake,” another said.
“Why is Drake taking pictures in Nicki bonnet,” another said.
“This is peak messy. Because there’s a man out there who recognizes that bonnet and bed and is losing his shit, but y’all think it’s just drake in his own bed being sassy,” another said.
Some of the women seemed to support Drake’s choice to use a bonnet to protect his braids. The rapper started wearing his hair in corn rows earlier this year, and his braids are always in immaculate condition.
“Drake need to drop the link to the bonnet,” one said.
“I have this same bonnet, I’m onto you Drake,” another added.
Drake has been a source of jokes this week, with Dr. Miami joking that the rapper had liposuction to create his abs, while a cartoon portraying the rapper walking and swinging his hips to the soundtrack is one of his newer songs from Her Loss.
The album is set to debut at No. 1 on the Hot 100 chart with 410K units sold in the first week, making it the biggest hip-hop debut in 2022 and the biggest sales by a joint album.

One of Beenie Man’s baby mothers has sadly passed away.
On Sunday, Moses Davis Jr. shared that his mother, Janet Dunphy, had recently passed away in an emotional post on Instagram.
“Never would I ever imagine making this post until years from now, but life doesn’t always go the way you want. Mommy, my heartbeat, my soul, my queen, my everything. You left us on October 23 2022 and ever since then my life has gone into shambles and I’ve gone into the darkness,” the young man wrote.
He also shared a slideshow of him and his mother in better times, including a holiday photo and others with her enjoying the beach and being affectionate to him.
Moses Jr., who suffers from Sickle cell trait, also shared his last conversation with his mother.
“I will never forget you or anything that you’ve done for me. You’ve set a foundation for your children and we will take care of it making sure nothing goes in vain. The last thing you said to me was to make sure I take care of myself and although you’re not here physically I know you’re up above watching me every step of the way,” he said.

Moses Davis Jr. continued, “There’s so much more words that I can say, but me good and okay. Wish me did realize the signs but me sorry say me run outta time. Until we meet again. Love you mom.”
Moses Jr. did not share any detail about the cause of death of Dunphy, who was 59 years old.
In the meantime, Beenie Man has not reacted to the death of Dunphy publicly as yet. Still, he and Dunphy appeared to have a good relationship as the artist shared his appreciation for her and the other mothers of his children back in May on Mother’s Day.
“Blessings Pon Blessings to my Superheroes who not only carry but love and care for my children unconditionally. Your efforts are well respected and never go unnoticed. To all Women that bear the duties of Motherhood, love and light to you. Happy Mother’s Day,” Beenie Man had written on Instagram with accompanying photos of the women and their children.
Beenie Man, who is currently touring overseas, has not publicly reacted to the death of one of his baby mothers. However, the dancehall icon and his son have a closed relationship since he was a child straight into adulthood.
