MANCHESTER, England (AP) — Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag said it was “unacceptable” for Cristiano Ronaldo and other players to leave Old Trafford before the end of Sunday’s friendly against Rayo Vallecano.

Ronaldo made his first preseason appearance in the match, playing 45 minutes amid speculation about his future at the club. He was pictured with teammate Diogo Dalot leaving the game before full-time of the 1-1 draw.

Ten Hag did not speak to the media after the friendly but told Dutch broadcaster Viaplay on Wednesday that “there were many more (as well as Ronaldo) who went home.”

The manager said he did not condone it: “Certainly not, this is unacceptable for everyone. I tell them that it’s unacceptable, that we are a team, a squad and that you should stay until the end.”

The 37-year-old Ronaldo missed United’s preseason tour of Thailand and Australia due to family reasons.

Brighton visit Old Trafford on Sunday in the season opener, which will be Ten Hag’s first competitive match as United’s manager.

Brittany Jno-Baptiste Charged For The Murder Of Jane Finch

Police have charged Brittany Jno-Baptiste with last October’s murder of Jane Finch. Investigators laid the charge Thursday morning, months after accusing the 21 year old of Burglary.

The major development in the investigation follows the release of a fresh psychiatric evaluation.

A psychiatric report received in January had concluded Jno Baptiste was unfit to stand trial then.

However, it also indicated the defendant could have the mental capacity to answer her charge in six months if she received appropriate treatment.

An updated evaluation was recently received by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, giving the green light for the murder charge.

Nelson’s Dockyard National Park stresses value of entrance fee to facilities

Black Immigrant Daily News

The content originally appeared on: Antigua News Room

The National Parks Authority is pleased to see so many return home for the summer.

Management is particularly enthused that residents continue to see the value in contributing to the Parks’ restoration and preservation programmes.

The Park’s fee structure of EC$10.00 has remained unchanged for locals/residents for years, making it affordable and accessible to anyone to visit our very own UNESCO World Heritage Site.

We are encouraged that this rate is about the same or below for some of the most popular national parks and world heritage sites across the region.

An extended deal is also presently on offer for residents/locals who require regular entry to the park. They qualify for a one-year pass for only EC$50.00 while a Family Pass for up to six persons is going for EC$200.00.

A season pass has been created for visitors that expires at the end of the yachting season. It goes for US$100 while a daily pass for visitors is US$15.

The revenues generated from the entrance fee help to pay employees who work tirelessly in managing the diverse operations of the unique facilities, which include the maintenance of yachting facilities that make Antigua a major hub for the sector in the Caribbean.

The National Parks, a self-financing institution, ensures that its revenues go directly to the renovation and restoration programmes that have brought international acclaim to these facilities.

The NPA also engages in a number of community-based programmes that benefit the residents of English Harbour.

The park also plays a major role in the protection and management of our marine space and terrestrial park areas, waste management and keeping the areas around the major tourist attractions of English Harbour and Shirley Heights in pristine shape.

The NPA notes that everyone should be proud of the facilities and the admirable work done by our own people to make this one of the most stunning attractions in the Caribbean and a significant contributor to our economy.

Cardi B Denies Involvement In Nicki Minaj ‘Fake Assistant’ Drama

Black Immigrant Daily News

The content originally appeared on: Urban Islandz

Cardi B is denying that she had anything to do with the recent drama surrounding Nicki Minaj after a troll account reportedly claimed to be her ex-assistant and was dishing dirt on the rapper.

The account popped up days ago on Instagram under the name of a label executive and using the photo of a Business Insider journalist while sharing several allegations about Minaj and her husband and also sharing information about the rapper’s life.

Nicki Minaj, who had addressed the troll account, claimed that it was an attempt by another fan base to execute their plan to take her down. While she did not call names, it is widely known that she and Bronx rapper Cardi B do not particularly enjoy a relationship due to their past rivalry. Fans have also continued the drama as they find ways to compare and pit the rappers against each other and this latest incident with Nicki say the Barbz throwing shots at Bardi gang fans.

Cardi B denied that she had anything to do with it as she defended herself, noting that she was asked by bloggers for input on the “tea.” She said all of it is false as the troll account also made allegations that Minaj was recorded speaking ill of Cardi’s children.

In a rare moment, Cardi says she did not believe the account and called the claims lies.

“A lot of things I’m seeing is ppl be saying oh you be discussing this, this and that with Arman. No,” Cardi B began.

“A lot of blogs hit me up asking me about that bs that was going on two days ago and I told everybody, no, that is not true, there was lies talking bout ‘oh Mike Will Made it told you this and that and said this about your kid’, no. That is not true, that is not true. ‘Have you reached out this and that’- no. it’s not true, I think it’s false, I think it’s a troll. And that what I told Arman and what I told everybody else,” Cardi B said.

The rapper added that she responded to questions from blogs because she is tired of having false assumptions made about her.

“I’m not discussing everybody, I’m telling ppl no this sh*t is a lie, because guess what if I don’t respond to people they are gonna assume that it’s real and then they are gonna run with it. I don’t lie on people and I’m not gonna let the narrative go that is true. What’s wrong with me saying it’s a lie it’s not true,” she asked.

Cardi also called out those who only wanted to see strife had she entertained the claims by the troll account and lashed out at Minaj.

“Y’all would have loved it if I entertained it… ‘yes it’s true’… but that’s not true, I told people it’s false, that’s a troll, that’s a troll account and that’s how I left it, nice clean and there. And Arman wasn’t the only one that reached out. A lot of blogs DM me and a lot of blogs hit my publicist and we denied all of it and we said it was a lie. thank you, carry on,” the rapper ended.

Nicki Minaj, in the meantime, has been promoting her music, while Cardi B recently dropped her track “Hot Sh*t” with Kanye West and is reportedly working on her album to be released this year.
