Two men who are said to be close friends of Chicago rapper Lil Durk have been killed.

Reports are that the two men, Jaquan, known as Lamron Quan from Chicago, and Kierre Davis, known as KD from Milwaukee, were found dead by police over the weekend. The circumstances of their deaths are yet unconfirmed. News reports from a local news station in Chicago confirmed that Fargo police are investigating the shooting which took place early on Saturday morning.

Police reportedly responded to reports of a shooting around 3:15 a.m. at the 1000 block of 15th Street N. A witness told police that he heard three shots and later discovered two bodies lying in the driveway. Online, there are claims that the men shot each other. Lamron Quan is said to have killed KD after he shot him first.

In the meantime, Lil Durk has not reacted to the death of the two men. The rapper has been off of social media for months now after rumors surfaced that he had cheated on his fiancée and the mother of his child India Royale.

This week, his fiancée seemed to hint that the rapper had moved on.

“I’m in fact a BM but One thing about it I ain’t bothering my BD new girl because I don’t care about either. The sea is swimming with fish. Won’t dwell on one,” she wrote on Twitter.

She later posted another tweet that left fans confused.

“A BM has to be in love or dead. That’s the only way she won’t be on your. In case anybody missed it. Tf,” another tweet read.

In the meantime, online, social media users reacted to the deaths of Durk’s friends, with many mentioning the rapper’s friends, including fellow rapper and his best friend King Von, being killed in 2020, and his brother D’Thang who was killed due to ongoing conflict with Chicago’s O’Block gang.

Jhené Aiko and Big Sean announced on Friday that Aiko recently gave birth, and they revealed their baby boy’s name.

In a post shared on Instagram, Aiko shared that she gave birth on November 8 to her second child and Big Sean’s first child, Noah Hasani. “After 24 hours of labor, a total lunar eclipse, and while it was pouring rain…he came,” she wrote with the emotional face emoji. “my baby Yoda, my Sani,” she added on her Instagram.

Jhené Aiko also shared several images, presumably before she gave birth. One photo showed her in a hospital bed with her eyes closed and legs crisscrossed as if meditating. In others, she also shared one of Big Sean taking a nap as he waited on their son’s arrival.

Big Sean also shared the same caption on his Instagram but a different set of photos, including one where his son’s tiny hand grasps his index finger. He also shared another photo of him holding the infant with his shirt off while the baby is swaddled in the hospital blanket, no doubt bonding in skin-to-skin contact.

Among those who congratulated the couple was producer Hitboy, rapper T.I, singer John Legend, 2Chainz, DJ Khaled, and many others.

The news about Jhené Aiko’s pregnancy first came in June when a woman claimed that she had seen a pregnant Aiko in the grocery store.

The “Chilombo” artist and her longtime partner only confirmed the pregnancy in late summer after they were spotted out for a stroll.

Last month, while performing at a joint event with his partner, Big Sean revealed that they were preparing to welcome a baby boy but did not share when the child was expected.

Hasani is Jhené Aiko’s second child, as she has a daughter Namiko Love Browner who is 13 years old. This is Big Sean’s first child, and he is ecstatic to be a father.

The artist has not shared any information about her son, but she described the feeling of having her son look at her and marvel at his eyes and the way he looks at her in an interview last week.

Since announcing her upcoming Super Bowl Halftime Show appearance for next year, the artist has been very active and out and about. She recently popped up at the premiere of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever after recording two emotional soundtracks.

She has also blessed fans with another well-executed Savage X Fenty show on Amazon Prime.

The woman who held Pop Smoke as he took his last breath has broken her silence as she reveals the last thing that the rapper said to her.

Pop Smoke’s death sent shockwaves through the hip-hop community when he was shot and killed during a home invasion in 2020. The young rapper continues to be mourned by his loved ones and fans who have had the pleasure of enjoying his post-humous albums.

While speaking on Hip Hop Homicides, which is executive produced by 50 Cent and Mona Scott-Young, the woman, Amelia Rose, tells show cost, Van Lathan, that she was with the rapper on the night he was killed. The rapper had left to use the bathroom in his Hollywood Hills home before armed intruders broke into the home.

“Pop said he was going upstairs. I’m sitting on the bed and I’m starting to take off my clothes, and he said: ‘OK, I’ll come back,’” she said.

Rose added, “He was going to the restroom and so these were his last words.”

The woman described the moments that followed. “This moment, it was like a couple seconds and I hear the noise,” she said noting that a door in another upstairs bedroom appeared to have opened.

“The guy was in the mask and his gun was like… ‘Look at me,’ you know? His eyes made me so scared. They run to the restroom. Pop screamed, ‘What?!’” she narrated.

The woman said that as the seconds ticked by and the gunmen held onto Pop Smoke, she could hear the commotion before gunshots went off. Rose also became emotional as she recalled the terrifying night and the fact that she thought she was going to be killed as well.

In the meantime, one of Pop Smoke’s killers, 21-year-old Corey Walker, is currently awaiting trial. A pre-trial hearing set for October 13 has been postponed to December 9. Three other juveniles have also been charged with Walker. The alleged triggerman was only 15 years old at the time of the killing.

In court hearings, police say that the murder accused allegedly scoped the rapper’s Instagram story and copied his address which was seen on designer bags packaging he shared online. The suspects managed to rob the rapper of a Rolex watch which they later sold for $2,000.

Chris Brown’s song “Under The Influence” has nothing to do with the cough medicine Robitussin, as some fans seem to think. Lyrics from the song went viral this week after some fans became aware of what the actual lyrics said.

The song “Under the Influence” was released three years ago but recently started trending after fans scrutinized the lyrics leading to it being No. 1 on the iTunes charts in early October. Earlier this month, “Under The Influence” became Breezy’s milestone 50th Top 10 entry on US Rhythmic Radio, and on Tuesday, the song stood at No. 8 on the Spotify Global chart with 3.1M streams yesterday.

Well, the song continues to trend and has formed many threads of discussion online as fans debate whether the lyrics are really “Fu**in’ Robitussin” or “Fu**ing, rubbing, touching.”

On Twitter, there is a lengthy discussion Q&A where Ricch asked, “So Chris Brown ain’t say Fu**ing robitussin? He said fu**ing, rubbing, touching?”

Chris Brown also cleared up the confusion as he let fans know he’s been watching the discussion.

Rising dancehall artist JayBlem along with five other men, were tracked down and arrested in Florida in connection with a New York homicide.

According to NBC Channel 7 News on Wednesday, JayBlem, along with five other Jamaicans, were arrested by Bay County Sheriff’s deputies and US Marshals Task Force while searching for the man who shot and killed an innocent bystander in a New York shooting in October.

The U.S. Marshal Service reportedly tracked down wanted man Anelka Green from New York to Florida. Green was wanted for a shooting outside of a New York restaurant that left one person dead. According to police reports, Green was involved in a verbal argument at a restaurant in Brooklyn in October and had left and returned later, where he fired shots into the establishment and caused an innocent bystander to be injured. The victim later died from the injuries.

It’s unclear Green’s relationship to JayBlem, but law enforcement says that Green fled New York and was later traced to a condominium in Panama City Beach. Police later executed a search warrant of the condo and arrested six persons, including JayBlem.

Police reportedly found several hundred grams of marijuana, MDMA pills, and more than $23,000 in cash.

In the meantime, management for JayBlem has not commented on his arrest. The artist, who is the son of veteran dancehall artist Danny English, broke out on the scene last year with his song “Account.”
