MAN SERIOUSLY INJURED IN PRE-DAWN SHOOTING IN GRAYS FARM

A man is now in hospital with a bullet still lodged in his right leg after being attacked at the top of Christian Street in Grays Farm early Tuesday morning.

The man told police he was on the road about 3:30 when he heard a loud explosion and felt a sharp pain in the right leg.

Police were called and found the man suffering from a gunshot wound on the gallery of a home in the area.

Two bones are reportedly broken in his right leg and he requires emergency surgery. A motive has not yet been determined for the gun attack.

Police have launched an investigation and are asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or Crimestoppers at 800-TIPS (8477).
