The Westmoreland police are probing the gun slaying of a man said to be an ex- soldier in the parish on Wednesday afternoon.
The police are yet to reveal his identity.
He was reportedly gunned down in Hertford District, less than 24 hours after another murder in the parish.
On Tuesday, 35-year-old Adrian Brown, also called Donovan, of Crowder District in Grange Hill, was shot dead in his community.
Reports from the police are that about 8:15pm Tuesday, residents heard explosions coming from a section of Salmon Street in Grange Hill and summoned the police.
Upon their arrival, a wounded Brown was seen lying in a pool of blood.
He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
