JPS announces maintenance-related disruptions

Jamaica Public Service (JPS) has announced several maintenance-related power outages for Friday, October 21 and Saturday, October 22, in sections of at least 11 parishes.

The light and power company gave notice in a series of tweets on Twitter.

Here’s a breakdown of the areas to be impacted on Friday, October 21:

Westmoreland

Bog – New Works, from 9am – 5pm

St Andrew

Hildene Ave, sections of Norman Gardens, sections of Mountain View Ave between #11 to #104 and all roads leading off in this area, from 9:30am – 5pm

St Thomas

Red Hills Housing Scheme, York, Spring Garden, Seaforth, Wilmington, Golden Valley, White Hall, Arntally, Newland Cedar Valley, Bethel Gap, Richmond Vale, Epping Farm and roads leading off, from 8:30am – 6pm

St Catherine

Pleasant Farm, Hayfield, Ewarton, Mt Rosser and roads leading off, from 9:45am – 5pm 5 Miles District Waterloo, from 9:30am – 5pm

St Ann

Lancewood Meadows, Bonham Spring, from 9:30am – 5pm

St Elizabeth

Spice Grove, from 9:30am – 4pm

Trelawny

King Gate, from 10am – 3:30pm

Portland

Bound Ridge to Coopers, from 9am – 5pm

St Mary

Enfield District, from 9:30am – 4:30pm

Manchester

Patrick Road, from 9:30am – 3pm

Rose Hall, Ironshore, Coral Gardens, and Sugar Mill Road, from 9am – 5pm
