LETTER: Dissatisfied City East Resident

Unsatisfied City East resident.

Taking this situation back to 2014 to present. I’ve made several complaints to the sitting representative (Melford Nicholas) & also Harold Lovell about my road situation.

I’ve explained to them that the road isn’t a government road (the road was cut by the previous land owner so we can have access to our lands at the back)

Both of them made a commitment to assist.

Harold Lovell made another commitment  about 2 years ago while the other since 2014 & up to this day nothing was done.

Harold said: “I know some people in public Works whom i can contact to possibly lay some stones for you”

Melford said: It seems like a concrete road will best suit this area & all roads in my constituency will be fixed.

Why would you make a commitment when you know that you aren’t going to do anything to help? Typical politicians right? Empty promises/commitments?

This surely can’t be the road they expect me to walk on to go to the polling station because when the day comes & my road is still like this i shall not be leaving my house.
