An Ananda Alert has been activated, and a search is on for 16-year-old Tewanna Hooker, otherwise called ‘Lucky’, of Shortwood Avenue, St Andrew, who has been missing since Wednesday, October 12.

She is of dark complexion and slim build, and is about 157 centimetres (five feet two inches) tall.

Reports from the Grants Pen police are that Tewanna was last seen about 6am leaving home for school. At that time she was dressed in her uniform, a brown tunic, a green tie and a green belt with black shoes and white socks.

She has not been heard from since then, and all attempts to locate her have so far been unsuccessful.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Tewanna Hooker is being asked to contact the Grants Pen police at 876-755-1597, the police 119 emergency number, or the nearest police station.
