Shots fired on Eastern Avenue, police investigate Loop Cayman Islands

The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) reported that, shortly after 4:30am on Friday, September 2, officers responded to a report of shots fired at an address on Eastern Avenue, near the intersection with Godfrey Nixon Way.

Officers attended the location and recovered a component of a firearm, which was taken to be forensically processed.

The matter is currently under investigation. Anyone with any information or who was in the area between 4:00am and 4:40am is asked to contact George Town CID at 949-4222.
