Tropical Storm Madeline

According to the National Hurricane Center, Tropical Storm Madeline has now formed over the Eastern Pacific.

Regarding Madeline’s strength and movement, Tropical Storm Madeline has maximum sustained winds of 45 mph and is currently about 520 miles south south east of the southern tip of Baja California.

While Tropical Storm Madeline continues to move in a northerly direction towards Mexico, it is expected to generate swells and life-threatening surf and rip current conditions.

Interests in southern Mexico and Baja California are encouraged to monitor this development.
